Larry Page and Sergey Brin Step Down; End of an Epic Era in Innovation & Technology

Both Chief Executive and President at Alphabet (GOOGGOOGL), Larry Page and Sergey Brin are stepping down from their respective positions. Both co-founded the company in 1998 but will remain as board members. Google will always remain a technology icon and a game changer as technology and social enabler. The road ahead for Alphabet (parent company of Google) might be tricky with political and regulatory hurdles but still, its everlasting effect in redefining the way we search for information in digital space remains exemplary. Google maps enabled some of the most valuable startups in the world, not to forget it’s visionary insight on betting on android as a gold standard for smartphones. From supercomputing, cloud computing to driverless cars, Google Glass, altruistic life sciences projects and much more.

Notwithstanding recent controversies, Larry Page and Sergey Brin redefine an era in tough technology like none in the past couple of decades.
